GovAI Summit 2023: The Developmental Path to a Real-Life Z.E.R.O. System for Defense

With Artificial Intelligence (AI) rising in importance in the government arena – much driven by the Biden Administration’s recent Executive Order – now’s the time for developing practical and safe applications of AI across all of the public sector.

With the theme of “Convening Pioneers at the Intersection of Government and Artificial Intelligence,” next week’s GovAI Summit 2023 will focus on real use cases and exploring the art of what’s possible in AI for government.

Along with leading government and industry executives, Makpar is excited to announce that Eros Marcello, Federal Government AI at Makpar, will be presenting about the evolution of defense technologies into using synthesis of Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCIs), neural EEG data, and eventually, neuromorphic engineering.

Titled, “The Developmental Path to a Real-Life Z.E.R.O. System (Zoning & Emotion Omitted) for Defense,” Eros’ presentation will unveil a proposed system in development that fuses the complexities of human thought with emerging quantum-resistant encryption techniques.

These will ultimately transcend the traditional bounds of offensive cybersecurity for the purposes of protecting the United States from adversarial nation states.

By capturing and leveraging stochastic neural patterns as un-hackable encryption keys, we bring a deeply personalized authentication solution to the realms of Federal Government, Defense, and Militaristic.

Eros will also highlight how the system's architecture isn't confined to mere encryption. It's actually integrated with IBM's TrueNorth neuromorphic chip and culminates in the application of an open-source, human-machine created programming language Makpar calls: Converge.

The big takeaway for Eros’ presentation is the bridging of the gap between the fictional decision-making intelligence systems Gundam Wing's ZERO (Zoning + Emotional Range Omitted) and tangible, real-world applications that capitalize on the aggressive innovation of AI/ML, computational neuroscience and offensive cybersecurity.

For all GovAI Summit attendees, Eros’ presentation will be taking place at 2:30 p. m. on December 6th in the Washington Room at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, VA.
